The Dragon's Tale

You Spoke, We Listened.

Welcome to The Dragon’s Tale.

The Dragon’s Tale is an opportunity for us to create a dialog with you, our valued guest.  Our posts will address a wide range of subjects ranging from Dragon Bowl specific posts, general health and diet posts and posts about our involvement in the community.  We hope you find our blog interesting, valuable and entertaining.

You Spoke, We Listened.

The Dragon is a good listener.

We care.  We care about the well-being of our guests.  We care about our team members.  We care about making our community a better place to live.  And we care about your opinions.

That’s why, in November, we surveyed our guests to gather feedback.

So…what did we discover?  You absolutely love our fresh seasonal veggies (especially the brussels!), reasonable prices, customizability, and delicious balanced bowls that “you can feel good about eating”.  We also received helpful and constructive feedback on areas we can improve.  So that is exactly what did – we made improvements based on your suggestions.  “Let’s give the people what they want!”

Thanks to your input, here are a few of the menu improvements we’ve made:

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

More Appetizers

We expanded our offerings to include Thai Shrimp Rolls & Mini Ramen Soup. In addition, we will change the ingredients in the Veggie Dumpling on a regular bases. Our new Samosa Dumpling is particularly awesome – filled with roasted potatoes, caramelized onions, tumeric & yellow curry, and served with a tamarind yogurt sauce.

Dragon Bowls “Our Way” – New Signature Bowls

You love the freedom to personalize your bowl, but there are times you prefer to choose from a menu of tried & true bowls. That’s why you’ll now see a new section on our menu – Dragon Bowls “Our Way” – complete with six new Dragon Bowls that we are confident you’ll love.  This section included two hot bowls (Ramen Soup & Curry Bowl), two traditional bowls (Korean Bibimbap & Vietnamese Bun), a salad (Garden Bowl), and our “Superfood” Bowl. These bowls will change regularly to reflect the season.  [View Menu]

Dragon Bowls “Your Way” – Sauces on the Table

For those of you who like to customize your bowl, you can still do that in our build-your-own section. You will now find our made-from-scratch sauces on the table. We did this for two reasons. First, we embrace the customizability of our bowls that includes the amount of sauce. Putting the sauces on the table allows you to put the perfect amount of our made-from-scratch sauce in your bowl. Second, we want you to try our different sauces. Now you can add one or all of our sauces to your bowl to make it the perfect bowl for you.

More Options for the Kiddos

We added a Rice Plate & Ramen Soup to our Kid’s Menu.

Grilled Chicken Breast

is now being served. Thanks for the suggestion!

Extra Yummy Ribeye

We are using a new marinade for our ribeye that results in a more flavorful and juicy end product.

Dragon Rice

We removed the quinoa from our Dragon Rice, which will now be healthy blend of brown and red rice. We’ll save the quinoa for a special grain blend we will introduce in one of our new Superfood Bowls.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

We are excited about these changes because it’s what you asked for and we believe they result in food that is even more delicious and customizable.

Come check out the new menu soon & let us know what you think!  We appreciate your feedback, so please drop us a line anytime at contact@dragonbowlatl.com.

Thank you for your support.

  1. May I ask you to consider one more addition? Before the Dragon Bowl location opened and you could purchase a dragon bowl at any Doc Chey’s, you used to have pickled red onions as one of the pickle choices. They were delicious, and I’d like to be able to have them in any noodle bowl I customize. Any possibility of that?

    Thanks for considering!

  2. Hi Roz!

We currently have pickled red onions in the store as a garnish option! We call them “sweet pickles” on the menu. You can add them to any bowl you’d like!

Thanks for your feedback! We hope to see you soon!
